Easy Valentine Brownie Pops

There’s just something magical about making treats together with the kids—sticky hands, chocolate everywhere, and those little giggles when they try to sneak a bite.

That’s why I’m so excited to share how easy it is to make these brownie cake pops!

They’re perfect for a sweet family treat or a little something to brighten up a cozy day at home.

And since Valentine’s Day is coming up, and while we’re not big on going out in the freezing weather, staying in and whipping up something sweet is totally our vibe.

These brownie cake pops are so fun to make, and with a freezer stash ready to go, they’re perfect for cozy nights or a special dessert to celebrate love from the comfort of home.

How to Make this Easy 3-Ingredient Valentine Brownie Pop Recipe

Here are the ingredients for this recipe:

  • Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix (18.4 oz): Prepare and bake as directed on the package.
  • Chocolate Frosting (16 oz): Choose either chocolate or chocolate fudge pre-made frosting.
  • Pink Candy Melts: Perfect for coating the cake pops; I used Wilton candy melts.
  • Valentine’s Sprinkles: There are plenty of options to choose from!

Step-By-Step

Prepare the Brownies: Follow the package instructions to mix the brownie batter in a large bowl and bake in the oven.

Cool and Crumble: Let the brownies cool completely, then crumble them into a large bowl using your hands or a fork.

Mix with Frosting: Add the chocolate frosting to the crumbled brownies and mix until fully combined.

Shape into Balls: Roll the mixture into balls about 1 ½ to 2 inches in diameter. Arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, freeze for 1 hour, and then let them rest at room temperature for 10 minutes before proceeding.

Melt Candy + Dip: Melt 1 cup of candy melts, dip one end of a cookie stick into the melted candy, and insert it into a brownie ball, letting the candy harden to secure the stick.

Dipping Each Cake Pop: Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, reheating the candy as needed since it hardens quickly. Don’t stress about perfect coverage—sprinkles will hide any imperfections.

Add Sprinkles: Gently shake off any excess melted candy, then add sprinkles while holding the lollipop over a bowl to catch the extras.

Repeat: Melt another cup of candy melts and repeat the dipping process until all the cake pops are coated.

Sharing these Valentine’s Brownie Cake Pops with my family was such a joy—they were a huge hit and a fun way to spread the love!
