Smores Cupcakes – What You Need

- Graham cracker crumbs: These form the buttery crust at the bottom of each cupcake, giving it that classic campfire crunch.
- Melted butter: Helps bind the graham crumbs together for a firm base.
- Sugar: Just a bit to sweeten the crust and balance the chocolate.
- Chocolate cake mix: Keeps things simple and delivers rich, chocolatey flavor.
- Eggs, oil, and water: Needed to prepare the cake mix—check the box for exact amounts.
- Large marshmallows: Toasted on top for that gooey, golden s’mores finish.
- Chocolate squares or chips: Optional, but they melt beautifully into the marshmallow and add an extra hit of sweetness.
Smores Cupcakes – How to Make
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
Step 2: Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined, then press a spoonful into each liner to form a crust.

Step 3: Prepare the chocolate cake mix as directed on the box and pour the batter over the crusts, filling each liner about two-thirds full.
Step 4: Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean, then let the cupcakes cool slightly.
Step 5: Top each cupcake with a large marshmallow and broil for 1–2 minutes until golden—watch closely so they don’t burn.

Step 6: Press a piece of chocolate or a few chips into each toasted marshmallow while still warm, then let cool or enjoy while gooey.
